Radiant Cycles exhaust tips...
Has anyone tried these yet on their bike? I want short exhaust on my FXBB but I have heard of people having problems with back pressure. I've also heard people love them and have no problems, whatsoever. I also wonder if they require tuning the computer at all. They do come with baffles, I think. I'm not going for loud so much as not covering the back tire and making room for possible bags. Oh yeah, and they're $20 cheaper on Amazon...

But yeah they're open with a mess baffle piece that has no reversion control.
You can buy a set of Thunder Torque inserts from DK Customs and fix that easily though.

I didn't even think about that. Scrolling through the OEM parts images, there's no bracket that attaches to hold up the headers on the frame. The bracket attaches to the mufflers themselves.
Unless someone makes a bracket or means to secure the headers to the frame, I'd have to say to not get these.
While I really like the looks they are not long enough to cover the factory passenger foot peg + muffler mounting bracket, and there is in fact no way to attach them to that bracket. The exhaust just hangs from the header to cylinder head attachments. No bueno.
I returned them. If they made them 4-6 inches longer to cover the bracket, and devised a way to attach at least one of them to the bracket, I think they'd have a winner. I mentioned the same in an email to them but they didn't bite.
Have been surfing the web to find something similar, but no luck so far.

They're a short pipe setup with baffles and a crossover port, and arent much wider than the exhaust port. They dont have a turn out but they're pretty close in appearance to a short cut off pipe set.

I really liked the Radiant slip on turn out's - they were different, unusual. The way they are made it sure doesn't seem like it would be hard, or costly, for them to make them longer. The more difficult bit to sort out would be how to solidly mount them.
