My bike did the same thing. Oil out of the breathers. The shop replaced the top end and oil pump back plate to an updated version before the updated oil pump came with it. This was at the 1000 mile service.
At first they thought it was due to bad breather valves but when that didn't resolve the issue, they dug into it further and consulted with HD. The repairs are what HD recommended and I haven't had oil out of the breathers since with a bit over 18,000 miles on her now. Also vented the breathers externally once I knew the issue was resolved.
