Yo 702 that last vid sounds normal to me . Remember there's 4 valves, roller lifters, cam chain, balancers , slugs and a primary chain all whizzing around in there .There was a slight metallic sound at the end but it wasn't offensive to me. We know if that bike was warmed up , if it wasn't it'll tighten up a little when warm .
I think I remember your sound bite and yea you had a weird noise for sure but if it's not getting hot and losing power .What does your used oil and filter look like ?
The 5k oil change is coming up soon. The 1k didn't have an abnormal amount of fuzz on the drain plug and the oil looked like normal used oil.
Just for fun, here's another clip of my squeak/squeal. The noise is definitely not the whirring sound that the balancer gears make, but could still be the balancers.
@CPete13 I'm tagging you so you can hear it too since we're both chasing the same evil sound.
Yea that's her . There's something rubbing or misaligned .
I'm going back to your first sound bite for a listen .BB in 5 lol.
Has it got a bit less loud than it was before ?

Just comparing your two sound clips it seemed to have quieted down some did it not? It sounds like my '20 Heritage does with 11k on the clock.
The first clip was from my wifes phone, the second was from mine. That may be the difference. Are you in Vegas? If so, I'd sure like to hear yours and compare.
Haha I was going to say, one day we'll probably meet somewhere and get to talking about this. I live outside of Vegas but commute there for work so one of these weekends we'll have to meet up and you can listen to mine. I have Rinehart slip-ons on mine and I can still hear the sewing sound over the pipes. Doesn't bother me

I put Rineharts on this one too. The sewing machine sound I can live with, I have it on my Street Glide too, it's the idle squeal I'm chasing down that annoys me. Let me know whenever you're free, I'd like to hear yours.
I know this is a long shot but does it go away if you pull the clutch in ? Does it modulate like a throw out bearing at all when you pull the clutch ?
It's late here so I'll check back in later in your today but my tomorrow.

It is the same in gear with clutch in, or in neutral with clutch out, or in neutral pulling the clutch in and out. The noise is only at hot idle, won't do it when cold. If I roll another 50 rpm into it, the noise goes away. I looked into just raising the idle but learned to only way is with an aftermarket tuner. I may do that if I keep this bike, we'll see once it hits the 10k mark.
ETA - it doesn't change whehter EITMS is on or off either
