Default Before and After

Still fairly new to the 2018+ Softail threads, so if this has been done before, I apologize but have not seen it. I love threads showing what mods or changes members have done to their bikes. The old Softail forum has this thread, and I figured we need to start showing what everyone has done to the M8 softails. Post pics of before and after, as many pics as you need.

Mine has not changed much, but I’ll start it off:

before

after

Not too bad at idle or highway cruising. When you get into throttle, it is pretty loud. This is a 128”, so not sure what the FatCat sounds like on a stock M8.

Thanks - seems like people really like or hate the new Heritage. I am pretty happy with the changes made, and am really enjoying the way the bike rides and handles.

I had a 20 Heritage and loved the handling and performance but couldn’t get passed the lack of room in the saddle bags. Went back to a bagger mainly for that reason.

Here’s my Deluxe in the showroom

At this point, I’ve added glass, fangs, engine guard, grips, throttle boss, stage 1, a few covers on the engine, lay down plate, rear fender rack, and detatchable bags.

As of now, I’ve added a Sundowner seat, Progressive shock and fork springs, blackwall tires, and cast wheels. The bags were removed for the picture.

If I do anything else, it’ll be a 2:1 exhaust and hard touring saddlebags painted to match.
