I have JES mounted inside the spools. I posted a thread a few weeks ago about the install. I have a short video where I walk around the bike to show the angles better. Mounted outside the spool. Here is a pic from a little different angle using the JES fangs on my 2018 Deluxe. Mounted this way retains quick release of my Harley Davidson windshield.
I tried mounting the Harley Wind Deflectors and afterward, there is no way to put the windshield back on. I "may" have been able to mount the windshield at the same time, but it could never be quick released again.... Am I missing something?
Mounted my JES fangs on the outside. Makes it easier to pop off the windshield. I did have some clearance issues with my engine guard on the left side. I did some hand adjusting and now it clears, though I put some tape on the engine guard just in case.
