2021+ Downstream O2 Sensor
I take delivery of my new 2022 LXLRS next week, naturally i'm already shopping for a new exhaust.
Unfortunately being in the UK means we have new 'downstream' O2 sensors on the 2021+ models.
My question is will my older Powervision PV-2B be able to disable the new O2 sensors with the updated firmware and cable?
I'd like to avoid having to buy a new tuning license if i can as i'm not ready to invest in that yet.... so if the PV can disable these sensors without the license that'd be more ideal.
I spoke to Vance & Hines but all they fed me was "our FP4 can disable the sensors".
I've also heard a mixed bag with "blanking plugs", they tend to only work with the front o2 sensors.
Thanks,
in regards to the newer bikes, most exhaust manufactures provide a bushing to reduce the size of the bung...not sure why they just would install the correct size. but anyway, the idea may work if you dig and around
I Called the dealership this morning and spoke to their head tech for some clarity.
He told me I would need to get a new tuning license for my PowerVision as disablement of the new o2 sensor would form as part of the tuning parameters (sadly not just an independent switch i can toggle on/off unlike some of the PV settings).

I have an S&S SuperStreet 2:1 pipe on my 22 Low Rider ST. The stock pipes had 2 downstream sensors and when I had it tuned (Direct Link), we just turned off the sensor inputs. No issue at all. The bike doesn't throw any codes.
A few days ago I installed a modified OEM silencer and installed the o2 sensor back in said muffler (just for the looks, because for the way I modified it, fumes will never make contact with the downstream o2 sensor). I loaded a generic 2 into one map found on the dynojet website and bike is trowing P015300 HO2S pre catalyst rear cylinder circuit slow response code. Opened the latter map on WinPV and the downstream o2 single sensor value is set to 0 (meaning that this vehicle does not have said sensor).
What do you think? Should I set it to 1 even if its contradictory? Thanks!
just a quick edit: in both maps the downstream o2 single sensor option has a (-IGNORED-) on its left, dont know if thats relevant. The ignored part disappears if I flag the top right check making it apply value shown to ecm
