So having a bit on an issue. I have an FXLRST and recently replaced the handlebars and used guerrilla cables to extend the wires. I have done this on about 20 other bikes with no issues.
When I put everything together it all worked fine. After I pushed the wires back into the frame it would start glitching. At first if I pulled the wires back out everything would be fine. Now all of the sudden everything stopped working. The bike will turn on fuel pump and headlight only if the bike is standing up off the kickstand. The bike won't start, gauges and blinkers wont work,
I took everything off and took it back to stock and the problem persists. Im looking for any advice... Found no pinched wires.

Thanks in advance!
Heres your clue. Check all the connections and connectors. My guess is something is still disconnected from the backbone harness, probably the cable(s) that go from the backbone harness to the RH controls.
Internal wire break inside the insulation somewhere. That's all I got if it is not a pin. Pushing/pulling wires and having it malfunction would be my clue.
like stated above, check connections, and pins first. if it stills happens, you may have to remove the wiring and connect everything out of the bars...Then start wiggling wires.
Aside from the battery which sounds like it has drained for starting attempts where is what I would do (if you haven't already.)
Take the tank off - trying to do the wiring under the tank is a pain
Check all the connectors for a pin that is either not seated in the connector or in backwards.
When I did a bar swap on my Fat Bob I originally started with the tank just lifted in the front. Half way in I removed the entire tank to gain better access. Also on of my extension cables have a broken lock and would not stay connected when the bars would move from side to side. I had to replace that one so it would "click" into place.
Much appreciated! The battery definitely died after all the attempts. I charged it and everything is running as it should. I have yet to put everything together. I still have to find either the pinched wire or screwed up pin.
