Default Shifter cap dilemma

My 2019 Heritage 107 has a heel shifter that I’d like to remove.
I like the toe shifter where it is and would simply like to put a cap on the exposed shaft.
HD doesn’t sell one for my bike.
The usual on-line retailers seem to only make them for touring models and PRE-2018 softails.

Does anyone know if the touring models and the PRE-2018 softails have the same 1/2” diameter shifter shaft as the newer softails?

I’m pretty sure they’re the same diameter and spline count. Harley-Davidson shift lovers are pretty universal fit from year to year.

They took the heel shifters off by default on the 2018+ ...I had to buy one to put on to my Fatboy.

The original non heel front shift lever, that the toe shifter mounts to is 33600132. Only has enough splined shaft for the toe lever.

edit add: The older softails had different part numbers, 33660-07 and 33668-07 for the toe only lever and toe/heel levers, Touring looks to be a completely different setup all together.

Thanks,
The 2018 Heritage came with a toe shifter only. Mine is a 2019 and came with a heel/toe shifter. I can’t speak to the 2020+ models.

The reason why the caps aren't listed for your model is because your 2019 came from the factory with a toe shifter only. Someone must have added the heel shift kit which includes the extended shifter shaft to accommodate the heel shift lever.

Any of the HD, or aftermarket caps will fit (cover) the end of your extended shifter shaft when the heel shift lever is removed.

OK then, I’ll take your word for it!
Thank you and @Gordon61 for the information about the shaft covers.
