I think your bike automatically turns off one cyclinder to cool the engine. Once you get moving the rear cylinder will kick back in. You don't want a water cooled engine on a Harley.

I ride my Heritage(80k miles) in 95+ florida heat all day. that EITMS thingy is BS, a stupid feature to make you think it's running cooler. turn that **** off!!!! after waiting a long time at a light in summer, I will try to accelerate slowly and keep the revs down, but that's just me.
