I know my comment is ultimately useless here, but this is exactly why I do a done of research and check if everything works and availability of things before I bought stuff for my bike.
This sounds like a real pain in the *** to deal with.
Pv4 was the first mistake, wanting to run a pre mapped tune is the second. Pay a dyno tuner to run the bike on a machine and youll enjoy the added horsepower all while getting the best fuel economy you can while doing it.

Well I actually only made the first mistake. I've planned all along to get the thing dyno tuned, but pretty much anyone I've talked to so far thats actually close enough to matter doesn't want to deal with the Gen 2 regardless of the tuner

Nope! Reminding me yet again of my mistake is extremely helpful. Thanks!
Actually that's how I operate in almost everything I do in life. Unfortunately my previous experience modding my 2009 Fat Boy 16 years ago lead me to believe I knew what I was doing. Sad to say I was wrong

Personally, Im gonna hold off on tuning my 25 ST, I like to wear the warranty out on bikes before I start tinkering. But yeah, you can always take it to someone like Micky C., but I hear he charges $1k for a tune.

Well, I'm getting old and I'm an impatient man to begin with
2 years to wait for the warranty to expire is a long time
I expect this will be my last new bike (had 3 previously). Just wanted to make it the way I want it
If anyone can help you its Chuck at Throttle City in Levittown Pa. give him a call 215 945 0232 this guy knows his **** and will set you straight. .
Just got off the horn with Throttle City guy and it seems like he can indeed help me. I just have to wait until dynojet or fuel moto come out with a base map that includes a cam.
Doesnt even need to be the right cam. Just needs something in there that he can work with.
Hope on the horizon, but it looks like I'll have to wait a few weeks at least. July is friggin hot and I dont ride a lot when its super hot anyway.
