Biketronics Installed, Sounds great but...
I just put the 4180 in over winter, and last night on my way home from work i decided to try the fm (I only use sirus radio, usb, ihart) and wala I have every channel and the seek even picks up the shitty low signal channels. the amp was so clear and unbelievable sound that 4 of my friends dumped their set ups and ran out to buy full BT, I called them and they do not have any fm issues....we are all running hidden antenna in the faring but I will say I had the 33.2 and never got fm with that set up

That's awesome!! Wish somebody could explain a fix for the rest of us. I talked to biketronics and they said they do have issues like this every once and a while and they have no idea why. They told me that people send the equipment back and they try it in another bike and have no issues. They said some people swap out the amp and it works, some swap out for a new aftermarket HU and it works, some swap out the stock HK HU and it works. They even said some have changed the voltage regulator and that resolved the FM signal loss. I don't see any clear cut reason to why it works for some and not others and for those of us it isn't working for what changes need to be made to make it work.
I have A Sony radio
