I am curious do you find yourself needing to make bass, treble, fade adjustments while ridding. I ask because with the flash problems I am having with the best flash can come up with I am always on audio screen and tweaking things while ridding this is not real safe or any fun but screen is Huge and very is to see the only thing like about hd radio.
Thinking about going single din and with small not so easy to see screen this would become impossible I assume . In automobile's I may turn down or up subs but that's it would like bike to be turn on control volume and switch , skip tracks, Genre while ridding and that's it music all on usb rock, country blues.
I don't make any bass, treble adjustments while riding. Just volume.
All of my songs are processed thru platinum notes, some folks use mp3gain to set the gains on my songs so they all play at the same volume. Platinum notes goes a little further and also fixes any clipping.
Once I set my front and rear xovers, amp gains, and eq only think I worry about is volume.
I may do some initial tweaking in the garage after a install or changing componnets but keep things pretty static afterwards with only volume changes on the road. Are you looking at Metra kit for 14 up? I hear rumors of a Metra double DIN kit for 14 up. I'd be very frustrated too with factory HU with DSP settings all over place.
