Still tuning but after I went to high level output from the 998 I had to really drop my B52 gain because of hissing. It's set almost to the lowest gain setting. If the snow ever clears up I will continue.

What did you end up with for audio setting on the 998?
Edit: This looks like it.
I started riding and more tuning over the last two weeks. I've been out all this week for business so on hold again. I have tried many configurations and also taking pictures of the gain settings so when it's done I'll post it up right here. Just trying to squeeze a little more mid definition since I went to HL input. I did transition to HP on the amp now with the freq setting turned from 40 (at 7:00) and pointing at about 9:00 (max 400 at 5:00) on the B52.

I will be looking forward to your findings. For now I picked "Rock" for a preset EQ. Sounds pretty dame good inside. I've got to get it on the road if it ever stops raining.
Going to HL inputs and using the 998, AAWAV and Haze were experimenting with turning off the internal amp on the 998 to improve SQ. It's in this thread
in case you didn't see it.
