Aquatic AV upgrade in 2016?

Default Aquatic AV upgrade in 2016?
Any news of a possible upgraded HU from Aquatic AV in 2016? I know I've read in more than one place of a possible new model for early 2016... don't want to rush into buying the current AQ-MP-5UBT-H if a newer, better version is planned.

I would wait. All the gen 2 Aquatic is a basic media player wrapped in a waterproof shell. Sure the plug and play is nice but it doesn't have near what you can do with other head units with a hand control interface.

I am wondering what stereo did you install after you pulled the aquatic and how does it compare??
