Default Lowers: 2180 in parallel or 4180

I have installed my BT 2180 with 7.1s in the fairing and Titan II 6.5 in the lowers. Ran them in parallel directly off the amp. Sounds great but was wondering if it would sound better off separate channels on a 4180. Of course I could fade top to bottom with a 4180 and flash but would it be worth it. I'm sure I could sell the 2180 since it is almost new.
Btw no tour pak is ever considered for the bike so no rears.
Thanks

Someone stated a while back the BT amps were only like 220rms @ 2 ohms. They didn't have a huge power increase. 4180 be a better alternative than dropping 2180 @ 2ohms.

Yeah, That's the same thing I thought at the time. But real world was a little different. With the 7.1's and the Titan II speakers I didn't notice a difference in sound between the two amps. Both powerful and both sounded good. But not a noticeable difference in sound that I could hear.

I've had the BT 7.1 and 6.5 in parallel and on their own channels on the 4180. No difference in output whatsoever.

In all honesty, with individual sound being subjective, they actually sound better in parallel to me. Not louder, just better.
