Soundzcustomz uses a 2 amp 8 speaker flash, with the 600.4 you only need the front channel input as the amp will split the signal to 4 channels. High level input, no LL (fader doesn't work anyway with the 2 amp 8 speaker flash)
Yeah I know how the input switch works. What would **** me off is the cost of install and still have no fade. Use it or not I am picky enough that wouldn't fly. I am surprised the flash would have no fade. Either way it is what it is.Since this install was likely prior to the moto 600.4 then that amp would be close in size to the diamond but a tad bigger. May be a really close bolt on if Peter used a mounting plate. The 30w per channel power loss would be minimal with those speakers in my opinion. Cost supposed to be similar to the 4v2 but front mounted connections.
yeah I tried the 1 amp 4 speaker and the 2 amp 8 speaker and both loose the fader, I'm trying to NOT think about it but my OCD is kicking in... I'm edging ever so close to just getting an aftermarket HU

Patience my friend. A 6.5 double d replacement is just around the corner.

After spending a lot of quality phone time with Mike at BT (great guy to talk to) I've got the following coming from them; breakout harness (to separate the front/rear channel from the HD OEM harness as soundzcustomz harness just uses the front channel to power front/rear) the metal bracket to replace the plastic pods and two line levelers. I will have the bike flashed to NO AMP-4 SPEAKER. The consensus is this will get me pretty close to what I'm wanting with the equipment I have.

This will get u to the finish line Brotha!!!!!
When u get the BT LLs just make sure u become familiar with the Gain and HPF settings as they can get out of the default position during shipping and handling.

This is definitely a good path to take and Mike at BT definitely knows his stuff. With the proper flash and levelers the sound should be fuller. Tailwind makes a good point, most of the time the levelers are in a good spot but not always, a tiny tweak might be in order.

What model CVO do you have? I am assuming an Ultra considering the use of a breakout harness.

Yes sir the ultra. Got the radio flashed today to no amp/4 speaker in which automatically enables fade. As usual took longer to remove the hard bag and panel than to do it. Doing the install Saturday
