Speaker question/help needed
Since I'm never happy with what I have and want "more"
Anyone with input on BT Speakers compared to the Focal?
I'd like to keep the arc 600.4 amp in play.
Currently I've got the arc 600.5 powering 4 Focal 600.4 (fairing/tour pack) fairing speakers are mounted on the Biketronics speaker brackets with breakout harness and 2 line levelers. Dynamat installed on fairing backside.

A move to BT speaks might not be the best course of action IMHO.
I think the next tier you should be looking at involves component speakers. Start shaking those bushes as see what falls out.
I'm a huge fan of Focal and have been running their component stuff for a while, and plan on keeping most of my focal stuuf in my possession as its good shix.
This weekend I changed from the Focal KRX K2 to a little lower tier Hertz Components and they have a much broader range with good presence in those ranges. Less SQ for sure but I really do like the presence of these Hertz and they are here to stay ( at least till the UPS truck shows up).
First, commit to making the move to components in the fairing, shop hard for the right ones, then buy a hole bit that matches the tweet size exactly then drill a hole in the center of your grills. Put a little silicone on them tweets to hold them securely in place, cover the outside of the grill with waterproof speaker cloth and roll on down the road with far better sound than a coax could ever provide.
Just make sure u pay attention to the size of the crossover as some of them can get pretty damn big and will take up big space in fairing but since u have BT bracket it should not be a huge concern, but keep than on your radar.
If u need moral support during this transition, I have ur 6 bro!!!!

That's what was missing. Kept the focals in the rear, JL ZR650-CSI front.
Running break in on speakers now but what a world of difference! Dialed in the BTLL yesterday and re adjusted amp.

I really do think the component speaks in the fairing is the best way to go if u don't mind drilling the grill hole and the crossover storage.
Throw up a vid of a speaker challenging tune if u get a chance as we would all like to hear those ZRs.
Any issues with finding a place to feed the tweet wire without pinching it? I have the BT brackets so a nice little gap already exists.
Dynamat ur outer fairing next?
