Awesome install Brotha!!!

I edited my post to add another question. Any issues with finding a gap to run the tweeter wire so it's not compressed by the woofer mount? I have BT bracket so gaps is already present. Thx!!!

I've got the brackets too, thank god. If you look at the picture you can see where the tweeter wires are. After i cut the hole, dremmel, I hot glued the tweeter in from the backside also hot glueing the wire to the side of the tweeter them again at the curve of the grill. That allowed the wire to sit between the front fairing and the bracket. I put a little silicone on the wire to keep it stationary there too. Easy with the brackets.
Hardest part was getting that damn crossover mounted. It's as big as the speaker.
Spent several hours on the phone with mike from BT yesterday. We finally got base settings/frequency/voltage settings for the BTLL from them when they ship. This will allow anyone who wants to play with the LL to go back to base settings. Got a lot of other measurements for stock 6.5 head unit too. All of this made setting up the LL they way I wanted it to sound so much easier. Not to mention finally being able to level the front/rear speakers that HD/HK managed to SCREW UP. I will post all of hat this week too

Very nice job on installing the tweeters in the grills.

Getting the the LL back to default after adjusting the HPF is a PITA. What I found was that each slight adjustment on the HPF effected the speaker output gains on the BT amp. So it turns into a balancing act. When I talked to Mike he had mentioned coming up with instruction on how to make these adjustments. I would be very interested on what you learned from Mike.

Does this address the problem some are finding with lower volume levels coming for the rear speakers?

Awesome job man, I recently went from bt7.1 (non pros) to components and couldn't be happier, good thing you asked before you went the coax as in sure you would have been disappointed. Can't wait to hear a video bro

HAHA, that's what I told Mike. "Could you have made this damn thing more sensitive"? But I understand why too. With all the Harley updates screwing with the audio this overly sensitive LL allows for infinite future adjustments.
Yes this actually addressed the rear speaker volum issue and allows correction with the adjusted LL.

I appreciate all the comments and help from you guys. I didn't want to spend any more money but hey that's what it's for. To hide from my wife and blow it all before she finds out.....

Spent about 3 hours out riding with the volume 1/4-1/2-3/4 and occasional 90% (keep in mind the gains are set low to where even at full volume there's no chance of over doing them. They sound "fuller" and not as punchy so they should be broke in fairly well. One more gain adjustment and they should be set for good. I will post a video Asa's of them.
Even during break in it's amazing how I can barely hear the exhaust. I. Running a 110 CVO with dresser true duals and bassani DNT.

Thanks Tes. Could you go into a little more detail on each process?

I wasn't a big fan until I went to the local supply house yesterday. They have the new focal k2 ($1400.00) and these ($800.00 on sale for $480.00) and the JL's sounded a lot better than what the foals did. So now I'm a fan of JL too, lol

Install looks nice and well thought out. Crossovers can be a fight. Mounting these monstrosities was quite the process.
