2015+ boom audio 2 speaker grill tweeter

Does anyone know if the tweeter can be removed from the grill of the boom audio 2 speaker grill. I wanna but better component set in.

To keep it simple. Boom stuff only works well with "other" boom stuff. It's a proprietary system.

If you're looking for better sound you will need an aftermarket amp and component speakers in the fairing.
