I am looking at around 1000, have no issues doing install,, was looking for plug and play.. looking for good clean sound when riding... highway speeds mostly
and Lowers are not a real concern... fairing speaks and poss rear since most are the are usually sold as set
If your set on plug & play, Biketronics is the way to go. The only down side to this is that the 7.1 speakers tend to sound bright to some compared to other speaker options. This BT kit, including the 4 channel amp, and breakout harness for Ultra models which includes two line levelers will run you $1062 with the 10% forum discount. A pair of budget drop in speakers for the tourpak can be found in the $100 range. Replacing the 7.1's down the road is always an option.
Now if your handy using a Digital Multi Meter and adjusting gains this opens up a lot more options.

i spoke with Donna... THe BT two speakers and 2 channel Amp are the way Im looking at... the rears are minimal since they are limited sound and shallow placement... Pretty much decided on BT just wondering 2 or 4 channel for the future

Adding the 4 channel amp, breakout harness and second line leveler in the kit for an extra $260 (with the 10% forum discount) is the best bang for the buck. V-Twin Audio sells adapters for the Tourpak pods that allows more room for a variety of 6.5" speakers.
