Default 17 RGU front speakers
What is everyone using in the front of the 17 RGU?

Are you keeping the boxes or going for something with brackets?

How big can you go?

Just picked up my new RGU the other day and already want to upgrade the audio!

Currently there is no replacement brackets for a Rgu. You can fit a 6.5 in speaker in the pods. The 17 pods however are a bit smaller inside than the pre 17 pods so they do take a bit more work to fit a speaker with a bigger magnet than before.

I WISH someone would make some brackets, I'd like to ditch my glove boxes and my speaker pods.

Interesting. I wasn't aware of that change. Did they tweak anything else on the fairing? Is that just an ultra thing or RG in general?

Just ditch the entire inner fairing bro!!!! Quad 6.5 is the way to go lol!!!!

I never would've thought about using the primary case for speaker pods.
