2007 RG Audio upgrade - suggestions
Hello! I am looking for a system that will be LOUD and Clear at cruising speeds. The local Harley shops have not done anything for me so I have come here to see what you all can tell me about this.
I am willing to start from scratch as I do not have any original equipment. But I will say I have the Aquatic AV (black n white screen) HU with J&M speakers. I know the bag speakers are the Rokkers. No amps. To me this currently sucks as I can barely hear it at speed and not very clear.
I would like to have control of the volume from front to rear if at all possible but the rears always need some power to hear them.
What is the High priced ideal system and a mid price ideal system?? Please be specific.
Willing to spend a few dollars as I would rather not go through multiple purchases and years to figure this out.

Going all out, I would do some MMats 601 and horns up front off an one amp (you would need to lose to gauges to fit the horns), then put DD VO6X9 in the back off a small amp. If your lid speakers are 5X7 you will need a spacer. You're looking at about 1200 or so for this.
Something simpler one amp in the fairing with AD Design CX62 and a set of DD VO6X9 in the back. This would be around 900.00 bucks.
For both set ups add a few bucks for wiring, connects, amp wires, speaker adaptors, etc. Shoot me a PM or email and I can get you some better details.
