Default Amp Install

Hey guys

I have a JL MX500/4 on the way and was wondering how to mount it in a 17 street glide.

Can it be mounted right to the amp tray with bolts, do I need a different amp tray or should I use velcro which I'm not really crazy about.

Thanks for any help!

Right on the amp tray with some industrial Velcro from Home Depot or Lowe's or Ace.

I put the biketronics amp tray just makes it a nice flat surface and then industrial Velcro for my JL M400/4 - works great

Got another wiring question

For the power wiring on the amp what are you guys using to connect to the amp pigtails, crimp butt connectors or something else? 8 gauge is heavy wire to crimp.
I know to keep the fuse as close to the battery as possible and was wondering if they made set screw type connectors for that size wire.

Thanks guys!

That is a solid amp tray!!! But we're gonna need a forum discount to get that price to a reasonable value.
