That's pretty damn shocking!!!!! Damn good info B.B.!!!

Morbidly curious about the technical side of that AVC biatch. Figured it would only be like 3 bars of volume on the Rushmore's, which will still blow shix up if ur running the max clean volume when u twist the throttle.

Never used it, nor will I ever use it just for the record.

Exactly! Geesh......so simple of a solution...

I went here to read this. I got to here, "Settings gains is crucial. If setting the gains with a DMM (see procedure) then go to this post in that thread before calculating the AC voltage. Better to be safe than sorry!"
I clicked on the 2 highlighted words to read those also, and got (blocked) saying I don't have permission. ???? Don't get it. I would like to read these.

You don't have gain controls to set on the 2180 so this does you no good anyway.

Thanks. I'll stop wondering about it.

I use my AVC and have used my AVC since I bought my 07 SG (stock then aftermarket). I bought the Biketronics handle bar adaptor module with the AVC built in to use it! On my bike with it set on 3 clicks (pushes) it raise my volume by about 3 or 4 clicks on my HU at about 60 mph and reduces it 3 or 4 clicks when I slow down or stop. If I increase my volume when I am going slow, I realize when I speed up my volume will increase, so if I speed up, I decrease my volume manually...eezy peezy...not brain surgery! Its pretty basic... if your speed increases...your voltage will increase...so you must compensate manually with your thumb! The AVC POLICE on this forum will not stop me from using my AVC...I paid for it I'm using it...LOL One disclaimer...I don't have a Rushmore with the HU from HELL. so that might be different! I also want to add that I can't ever remember smoking a speaker or amp...so when I hear distortion I back my sh*t down, probably run on the conservative side when it comes to volume in audio period!
