Bluetooth Sound Quality??
I upgraded my phone and have noticed that the sound isn't as loud when I have Bluetooth on as the last phone. Should I use a aux cord or run it through the USB on the head unit? I have a Kenwood KMR-M318BT. Phone is a Samsung S8+

Is the volume turned all the way on your phone when connected? I have a galaxy s9 but also had a s7 and there is a point where it prompts you about turning it too loud that you have to go past by hitting ok on screen usually

Most of the new phones have a default that is around 1/2 volume, agree, make sure your phone is turned all the way up.
