Default Need help haha!

I recently bought a radio and speakers for my 2016 Softail Slim FLSS. I know the basics to wiring I just need to know where to tap into power for the radio. I’ve heard ignition switch or there’s acc to the running lights? I’m just OCD and my bikes to pretty to “rig” it.

What location are you installing the radio and the speakers? The accessory switch is where you want to tap into.

I bought a after market batwing fairing, and I don’t believe I have an acc switch. Thought only touring bikes had those.

On the slim there is a light gray connector under the seat that has ground, ignition power and battery power.

So I just wire a connector on the radio and plug them together?

You could use this connector from HD and make it plug and play.

No not any of those 3, it should be on the other side. It would be a unused plug unless someone add a acc already to the bike.
