Also the square framed PRV's have to be ground into a circle to fit the lowers.

My little pea brain is wondering ... Will the neo PRV's work in the < 2013 batwing, or are they too big/heavy? Also add some bullets/tweets in the gauge hole?

Thanks for the update y'all. Maybe one day if I find a used set on the BST forum I might tinker with them. There is basically no sled audio community around where I live so I can't compare them to the ADs I have now. I like the mids and highs of the ADs but they cannot produce any lows to speak of.

You mean these PRV's? They fit just fine in the pre Rushmore bikes. They work great with the BT 7.1 adapters. They'll fit the Rushmore pods as well with a lil creativity.
