Default Prv 8s

If anyone cares to share...right now trying out some prv8mr500ndy4 in my speed by design lids and Tourpack...I know of course it varies on wattage etc but WHAT ARE YOU GUYS CROSSING EM OVER AT MORE/LESS...I'm running off a jl audio 600/6 right now...NOT BRIDGED...sound pretty damn good but wondering if I should bridge em and drop em to a 2 ohm load etc

That’s 2ohm stereo. It says right below only 4ohm bridged.

You can bridge 4 ohm speakers but not 2 ohm speakers with that amp. If you have 8 ohm speakers you have other wiring options as well. If it sounds good to you why mess with it?

Very true. I cant argue with that lol. Maybe some of the smart guys can chime in and give you better wiring options. I have an idea but will wait for other responses.

I never put enough thought into it
jl audio 600/6
Channels 1&2 dd b3 horns
Channels 3&4 6MR500-NDY-8 ran at a 4 ohm load
Channels 5&6 8MR500-ndy-4 ran at 4 ohm load

Every thing I just put I have doubled...ran the exact same way make sense....2 amps 4 6.5 speakers 4 8 speakers 4 horns

Add a 4 channel micro amp for the horns in the fairing.
Run the 6.5" 8ohm speakers bridged parallel to channels 1 and 2 from each amp. That gives them close to 100 watts each. Then bridge the 8" 4 ohm speakers to 3,4,5&6 on each amp. just doubled your power by adding a small amp.
Wait for someone smarter than me to confirm
