Default Best speaker placement and wiring

I had a Soundstream pn4.1000d running 4 ohm Prv mr500's in fairing with B3's wired parallel on front channels. 8 ohm Prv mb250's in tourpack and 4 ohm Mmats in lowers wired parallel on rear channels. The lowers and tourpack speakers are significantly lower than the front. Even when I disconnected the horns they played lower. I disconnected lowers and tourpack speakers and ran horns on front channels at 9 o'clock and mr500's on fear at 10 o'clock and system sounds way better. I was thinking about running b3's and Mmats in parallel off front channels and mr500's on rear and leave mb250's disconnected. Which speakers would be better in fairings Mmats or Prv's? Another idea was to get a soundigital 250d to run horns and mr500's on front and Mmats on rear of Soundstream.

Get those horns on their own channel they must be screaming with the way you
have them now. Which ones are better is up to you everyone’s ears are different. Also 9 and 10 o’clock
in gain settings doesn’t tell us anything. You need to at least use a DMM to see how many
watts your pushing to those speakers.

you are facing an ohm load situation. as you mentioned the micro amp for the horns will help a lot, especially for fine tuning. and if you get the micro amp you will be able to tune in the SS better than it is, the issue is with the 8ohm speakers. the amp is rated for 2 or 4 ohm load, but when you mix the 8 and 4 ohm speakers together on a channel the load becomes in the area of 2.7 ohms, which the amp can handle, but the 8 ohm speaker gets roughly 33% of the power and the 4 ohm gets roughly 67% of the power and without a dsp to tune the 8ohm PRV 6mb250 to where it likes to be, you are losing sound quality and volume.
