This is in reference to a 2013 Street Glide with stock speakers/Head Unit. With that being said at a later date and time I may add lowers with the speakers.
I have been using the search function for several weeks now. I am looking at the BT7P1 speakers and either a PBR300X2 or PBR300x4 for the amp.
One of the questions I have is if I add the lower speakers later can the PBR300X4 be used in the meantime with only the fairing speakers until if and when I add the lowers. And is there anything else I might need for this installation?
And on a side note I am keeping my eye out on the what appears to still be the top secret DragonFly Head unit.

I wouldn't recommend that 300x4 amp. If you're running a SG the fader is not enabled so we don't have that to concern ourselves with so the head unit has 2 front outputs active only. I would use the 300x2 on the fairings speakers for now and when you add the lowers, we'll help you re-wire the 4 speakers in parallel to achieve a 2 ohm load utilizing the same amp.
you'll need about 8' of 10ga power wire, a fuse holder, and a fuse to install near the battery. That's it. The speakers comes with the adapter rings already.
