I opened up the cb hole also by trimming the ring and shaving the webbing off the side of the pod. A GZ micro and psm fit there nicely.
My main project has been modifying my lowers to fit a 8 speaker. Almost done with that.
inthewind. i am thinking about removing my cb module since ive put in my sony HU...what will I lose if anything besides cb and controls? what did you do with your cb wires? and lastly what size (dimensions) amp do you plan on putting in there? any other issues??
thanks

I didnt have cb so I cant answer those questions. For amp I have a GZ micro mounted in there next to a Arc PSM in one of the pics.
Slo - Is your amp mounting finished? Just wondering if you are comfortable with those bottom 2 stacked directly on each other? I would think you might want an air gap between them. Not criticizing, just asking.

They've got a gap Zach. Crappy angle on the pic but they’re spaced 1/4 inch apart. There are nuts and washers underneath the second amp holding it up.
Not sure if that’s the final way they’ll mount. I’m thinking about ordering some aluminum 50mm standoffs from a drone shop and changing it but at the moment, they’re far enough apart I “think” they’ll be ok.
