Audio upgrade suggestions
Hey I am thinking about upgrading my audio system on my 2018 RGS here is what I have on there now. Focal FDP sport in the fairing, DB Drive Moto 6.5 in fairing, DD VO 6x9 in lids. I also have on hand a DD Audio D4.90 and DB Drive WDX 69 Moto. What I am wanting to do is add some mid-bass speakers to my saddlebags im thinking 8'' over the 10's just so i can save some bag space and mount them in the rear of the bags as opposed to in the middle, I have not searched much yet but so far I am looking at the American Hardbag mounts. What I don't know is what speakers should I go with I see DD W8's and PRV 8's get tossed out there a lot as suggestions and also should I keep lid speakers or go back to stock lids and maybe add some horns/ tweeters. What would be some good options for me ? I would like to use the amps I have and just purchase 8's and tweeters but will purchase another amp if necessary, also I mostly listen to rap and r&b if that helps.

Hey t...I put the Ground zero GZCK 8's in my bags and have the VO 6x9's in the lids, really like them..alot of the guy's on the bagger audio boards like Sound Warz are using them. PRV 8's are also good in the bags, I have only heard the PRV's no personal experience! I don't know much about the D 4.90 but both the D 4.75 and D4.100 bridged would be plenty of power to run the GZCK's which are rated at 150 rms which is what I pushing to them right now and they bump! If you have enough highs on your bike now I would try the 8's and then decide if you need anymore highs via horns or tweets! MM
