Honestly it's probably a speaker spec issue. For your case, I'd HP the fairing and lowers at 115-125 and let those margarita bowls in the lids make up for the rest.
I was looking all over and this might be the closest place to get an answer. I have a stock 6.5 Boom hu. With a Mmats 4110 amp. There is a gain dial, I can do that. Then there is a frequency dial. I have LP, Full Pass, and LP. No other adjustments.
Questions; The frequency dial. Do I use this to tune both the HP and LP ? Where would/does the dial end up after tuning both, if I do ? Which test tones would I use for each speaker, and again, am I able to actually set both LP and HP without a using a DSP ?
My fairing speakers are AA 602,(for mid/upper), and my lowers are Mmats PA 601,(mid bass). I can tune each pair separately because I have 2 sets of dials.

Use HP. With seeing that you have a 4110, I don't think that will be enough power for the Arc 602. Id recommend going with mmats in fairing too. Either way you choose, HP and about 100 hz as a starting point. No need for dsp at this point.

Also, did you install a BT355 line leveler?
I did not. Dave @ Mmats said I don't need them.
So when I originally installed the new amp, I did set the gain by using SMD distortion detector. Turned the frequency dial by ear. Now I have the SMD Crossover Controller. But was not sure what frequency to start with.
Truth be told, it sounds so much better than my previous amp. That one I did use the BT155 because it had NO adjustments. I only had the the Arcs then.
So, the Mmats I'm using for mid bass. Can I actually tune the higher frequencies out with the amp I have, or not so much?
