Stinger amp mmats 601 in the fairing and RF kit in the lids. The mmats have the water resistance option, at least thats what I was told by the installer, and pretty sure the RF speakers are good. Not sure how water tight the RG fairings are, but I didn't lay any plastic of whatever over the amp, though it is kinda jammed up under the HU.
Are there options where you don't have to worry about the rain?
I'm currently running the Boom Stage 2 stock stuff. Rain doesn't seem to effect it and I've been in the rain, with the system running....heavy rain.
If ur a daily rider in a geographic location other than the high desert then ur absolutely going to want to seek weather friendly product or preventative measures.
U can make margaritas in JL880s. Thus some options do exist.

Yeah the boom stuff is pretty water resistant. Never had any issues with my stock HU, but I've heard some stories of aftermarket stuff not liking water.
As far as options, when I get around to installing the BT355 line levelers and possibly some mmat 690 cx speakers in the bag lids, I'll probably for my own peace of mind, put some kind of plastic sheeting or something over the amp. Speakers wise, I think you can keep them sprayed with silicone of such to help with water.
