As always, I was sitting here thinking about that darn radio again. Has anyone used the Sub RCA on the radio? If so , how are you running it and does it benefit using it or not?

Why would u use it? Run the front and rear channels to ur DSP and call it a day. 4 channel input is plenty.
I was just asking, brainstorming as always......lol
Grab a 12 pack and go out in Sheryl's She Shed and sit and get to know the tuning of ur specific speakers. Get a comfy chair w sled plugged into a charger and w ur fav 5 songs run each damn freq slider up and down to find out exactly what is impacted at each freq and how it impacts ur setup. Do it speaker set by speaker set then run all them together as ur final tune.
Run each set in Link and also Butter and slide the crossovers just a bit left and right just a bit to verify the impact. In that same breath run the slopes from 12 to 18 and 24 w Link and Butter.
Ur largest improvements will be from you and your ears getting to know how to maximize the performance of your setup via a great tune.
Be patient but dedicate time to learning every aspect of tuning. U won't regret it.

Yeah, I have the grandkids this weekend. between them fighting each other and raiding the kitchen I can't wait for Monday Morning,lol they sweet though...
I'm running subs in bags , so yes I'm running sub amp into sub input on head unit works great. And yes I'm using a PSM on the bags, also using the sub input is cool, turning bags up and down or completely off on the fly is nice.

I wasn't going to do that, but I was just wondering if somebody out there has done it and what was the results. now I know. I was thinking that it could be done with an amp of course;
So, on the DSI-2. what is the purpose of the extra RCA ( pass-through)?. I'm not an expert so I have to ask such questions or I will never know......

The pass thru allows you to add an additional DSP. Ur essentially just gonna pass thru the HU signal.
