where did you mount the amp? Can you post a picture.
I cut off the tabs that hold the wiring on the top of the headlight and it slid right in there. I used the Velcro that came with the amp to secure it to the headlight.
This is the same setup I will be installing in my 2015 RG, except I will be adding 2 additional MMats in the lower fairing.
Did you have your headunit flashed by the dealer? I had the dealer flash mine for 4 speaker/No amp
I assume I need to purchase 2 of the BT355's?
Did the Stinger amp kit plug directly into the Stinger amp, or is it just a general wiring kit?
Do you think a mounting bracket for the amp, would allow better air flow around amp?
Sorry for all the questions

Honestly I did not use much of the Stinger amp wire kit. I used the positive, negative, speaker wires, and the amp trigger power wire. Your factory harness will plug into the BT355. Then your RCA cables go to the amp. I pulled out the factory wiring for the speakers and ran the heavier Stinger speaker wires. Since youre doing 4 speakers the whole kit might make more sense for you. Its a pretty good quality kit.
I used one BT355 since I only did the fairing speakers. No flash required. Its my understanding there are 2 Bt355s, one for the front and one for the rear. Youll have to specify when ordering.
As far as the amp mount goes, a mount may be better. But the back of it does hang off of the headlight some, maybe a third to half. I dont know if youll gain much with a bracket. I guess itd be your preference on how you want to mount it. Some guys turn them with the plug ins and adjustment ***** out. Some tuck them under the factory head unit with Velcro or brackets. Heres the kit Heres the pieces I didnt use
be your preference.
Thanks for the additional pics and info
I bought a replacement bike last month and it has a 2 speaker stock setup
Iam a few months from being able to ride and atleast a few weeks to regaining use of my arm
No complaints.....as I should be taking a dirt nap
You dont need 2 BT 355 line levelers. Just use one for the front speaker connection, switch the stinger amp to 2 channel input and use all four speaker outputs. works fine and no flash needed.
