A few years back I was lurking about the forum and came upon a suggestion for my 2009 Ultra. At the time Kappas were the recommended speaker and sound stream PN. 1000 was a solid amp. I ran this with the stock head unit and was happy. Since that time I added the Metra Double Din fairing and the Sony AX5000 along with some higher bars. The fairing changed the speaker angle, and the bars my seating angle. Speakers point down a bit more and I’m more upright.
With all of this the system is still loud but it sounds very bright. Try as I might I can’t tune it to my liking so I figure it might be time for a speaker change? Currently 4 Kappas fairing and tour pack.
So without cutting or adding what would you suggest?

Thanks in advance.
"Without" cutting or adding your stuck with what you got. Not sure what your looking for?
Another warmer speaker? The kappas to me are too bright with not much bass at all. I ran them for almost a year with a SS amp.
There are many 6.5 speakers that are much warmer and would sound way better.
Yep, looking for a better (warmer) speaker. I don’t want to have to start cutting up the pods or adding lowers. Just something a bit warmer, the Kappas are loud but so bright that at 70-80 I think my ears will start bleeding.
