I currently own a 2010 Street Glide with all the works - King tourpak, fairing lowers etc.
It has an AquaticAv Head Unit.
I currently am running 4 Pioneer Speakers (Rated at 40W RMS @ 4 Ohm) off the headunit. 2 in the Tourpak pods & 2 in the lowers.
I was planning on installing a 4 channel pioneer amp as soon as Amazon starts deliveries here in India.
And i plan to add 2 more speakers to the fairing. I have a few questions :
Can i use the 4 channel amp for 4 speakers and use the head unit to power the other 2 in the fairing.
Do i need to modify any part of the batwing to fit 6 1/2 inch speakers or will they fit. - These speakers are 40W RMS too and so arent really big or heavy as such.
My reason for going this route was mainly cost and since a few friends are running them theyve held up to rains pretty well.
Speakers cost a total of 60$ for 6 of them. 4 channel amp is about 75$ (60W per channel).
The amp Pioneer GM-A6704 is a class AB that is going to be a problem. Can you get the Soundstream pn4.1000d or the Stinger SPX700X4 ? You can always watch the classifieds here for amps.
If Amazon is going to be delivering in India would he be able to get the Stinger SPX700X4 for the fairing and lower speakers and maybe the Stinger SPX350X2 for the rear pods?

That is what I thought, I went to the Amazon India site and no go. Maybe NVX would ship there I were him I would try and by from a forum member.
Hey guys thanks for the reply... I'm going to do some research on a class D amp and see what options are available locally without having to import something .. customs here can be a real pain..
thanks for the input. I wasnt aware that a Class AB amp draws too much power ! Little slow with understanding electronics...
