Do people bridge the lowers? Why? What advantage? Would I then need 8 ohm instead of 4 ohm for the lower speaks?

Do I need spacers? If so, I won't be able to add speaks as I have a Heavy Breather AC and it's 0.5" from the current door on my lowers.

I ran lower pods with that breather. Have to have a flat grill that doesnt stick out at all, and it still did touch the grill a bit.

Edit: to be clear I have advan black lowers. OEM pods might stick out further than advan blacks.
