Not knocking anything here but maybe shouldve asked that question before buying. Hopefully someone can chime in and give you there results.

What model Skar and Kenwood?
If they are the TX65's, they are great speaker for $50 a pair. Good sound and surprisingly can take a beating and still last.
Make sure that Kenwood is a class D amp for your charging system.
I've got 2 Skar SKM4004D amps powering 8 total drivers:
2 Hertz MPX 165.3 in the fairing
2 Alpine Type R 6.5" in tour pack
2 Skar NPX 8" in bag lids
2 Skar VX1-ST Tweeters bag lids
I'm judging the skar 6.5 component speaker system up front. Had the speakers fir 2 years now, they have outlasted a pair of expensive FOCALS. The only Offutt I have had is the crossovers. They are fairly large and not easy to hide under the fairing, and the vibration from the bike has caused the coils break loose from the circuit board, which I fixed by resoldering. They play loud and seem to holding up to my abuse. I initially ran a Rokker 660 watt 4 channel amp,but got rid of that and went to a Rockford fosgate amp .
