Considering moving my Mmats from fairing to TP pods and replacing with the new GZ coax in the fairing.
Problem though from what I'm reading is my Stinger amp is a bit of a "light-weight" for this move.
Will an Arc 600.4 do the trick and power both the GZ's in the fairing & Mmats coax in the TP pods?
That ARC is an even swap if not a downgrade. 1200.4 is a single amp that will get you where you want to go. It's too much for the MMats but nobody said you have to use every last bit of available power.

Thanks cp! Other than the 1200.4, is there a more "price friendly" single amp that would do the job adequately? Don't need something at the upper end of power...just enough to get some decent sound out the GZ's.

You could always sell the stinger to offset the price of the 1200. Check aggressive audio on facebook. They have about the best prices on that SD amp.

You could use a sd800.4 2ohm. Wire them bridge/parallel they will each get 250ish. They wont be stereo but most cant tell the difference. You could pick up a old S model used pretty reasonable.
I would suggest that you try the stinger since it is already in play. If you dont like the sound or it isnt enough then look for other solutions. I also suggest the 1200.4 4 ohm for the next step.

Thanks for the options guys! I just may try the Stinger first as per gypse above. It may be enough for me...if not, then move on to one of the other suggestions. I have a few long, cold months ahead of me to work it out
I don't see how the Arc could be a downgrade. it puts out more power at four ohms than the Stinger does, but I realize everyone is in love with the Stinger right now.
Lefty one thing to keep in mind is do you want to retain FM reception? I have heard folks before say sometimes the SD amps fry their FM reception. I'd like to know if this is true or not from someone in the know myself for future reference. Those SD amps sure do have some awesome specs.
What would y'all think about him bridging the Stinger he has now for the GZs up front and getting a Stinger 350x2 for the rear pods?
