sure, if you wanna throw in 5,000-6,000 watts and have crazy levels of speakers with magnets so large you lose 90% of your bag space, and the rebuilding of charging systems in order to handle the extra draw from the amps.

but a BALANCED system you build the fairing and lowers to listen too. you lose a LOT of efficiency installing rears.

I had speakers in my tour pack on my '14. even with a full windscreen in front of me I barely heard them. they were the same speakers that were in the fairing. you would have to pour several thousands of dollars into JUST those placements to even be comparable.

that money spent just in the fairing and lowers you would get 4-5 times the sound and quality. if you wanna spend 2 grand on fronts and another 10 grand on the rears, sure, pay to play... but dollar for dollar.... in the front.

That's ridiculous. lol I know and ride with some guys that have killer systems. You can hear their rear stage VERY well and they havent spent nowhere near that kind of money. You obviously had the wrong rear speakers in your 14.

ok I must have been looking at an older SD model (only had gain levels), but one thing RF still has that SD doesn't, is the clipping lights, this one thing I wish all amps had, soooo.... yeah, seems the evoX is pulling ahead.

My fairing speakers are like 86 db efficiency and the bag speakers are 93 db, this works out good going down the road and I have no problem hearing the bags at speed.

After hearing a statement like that it don't make sense to keep talking. I'm running around 700 watts total to my rear speakers and can actually drown out the front if I'm not careful.

what speed are you talking and how much are you pushing to your fronts? cause it sounds like stock front and low speeds

He meant to say 700 watts total. Not 700 watts to his rears.
