Do you have any idea of a budget you can work with?
I had the 520 watt version of the sound stream amp and it killed my fm reception.
I replaced it later with a stinger spx 700 amp and that amp is FM friendly, but its double the price on the SS. Perhaps someone else can confirm what other brand amps dont mess with FM.
I never listen to the radio anymore. so its not an issue for me.
In truth, I was hoping to keep things under $500-$600 as anything more than that will be a tough sell to my wife at the moment. It is possible I am just going to have to wait another year before doing anything with the stereo.

That's tough man for an amp and 4 speakers.
You could do the stinger amp that is FM friendly, if thats important to you, and the mmats speakers up front. Then get some cheap speakers for the rears for now. Just not sure of a cheap speaker that fits and would work. Again, maybe someone else has some thoughts or ideas on how to accomplish this within your budget.

Which stinger amp would work and be able to do the 4 channel with keeping FM?
I was thinking about possibly putting two Polk MM522 to keep costs down. What would happen if I simply left the stock speakers in the back for a while?
