Default White noise / static

I made some upgrades to my system and I am now having an issue with white noise / static. Replaced the stock head unit on my 2013 Street Glide with a Kenwood KMR-M328 BT, Infinity speakers to a set of Mmats, used all Metra install parts and interface and reused a B52 amp. Everything works as it should but now I have static coming through regardless of the source (radio or Bluetooth). Amp is grounded to the battery and velcro to the top of the head unit. Checked all connections and can’t find anything loose. Help!

Try running a ground wire or strap right to the frame, close to the amp...what gauge is the ground wire going back to the battery? Its probably acting like a high impedance, picking up electrical noise and injecting it right into the amp...

Running 10 gauge for power and ground.

Did you check the new headunit for clean signal/volume level and then reset the gains to the new headunit?

Lowered the gains and it made no difference.

Well, I appreciate all the input, but the truth is I am an idiot. I left the line output converter in place from the stock head unit and that was causing the static. Removed it and all is good. Feel free to roast me!
