I switched to 4 volts on my PSM after watching a video from an Arc engineer. He said that the more sensitive settings (lower voltage) should only be used as a last resort to avoid distortion. I can't say for sure if I got less distortion but I was able to move the master gain up to zero (which is what Arc recommends) with no increase in floor noise.
That being said I am running the older head unit with standard preamp outputs added by Iron Cross. I don't know if this would work as well with the newer head units or not, but I figure the fewer adjustments I have to make the less noise I am injecting into the audio signal.
I always ran 2 v on that device and it always seemed to match up fairly well with most amps. If u change it just make sure you start all over with the DMM, DD1, etc.

i think i will leave well enough alone for now. i decided to keep this bike relatively tame audio wise. right now i have an ex4 by euphoria as the only amp. using it to power 3 sets of 6.5s. channels one and two wires stereo to a set of beyma pro6wnd getting two hundred each ( actually jugs a little less than 200 if i figured things out correctly ) on channel 3 i have a set of euphoria ex6ncx wired parallel down to 2 ohm getting a little less than 400 watts shared. and the same for channel 4 with a set of the new motos with the compression driver. it sounds pretty good other than i cant get any frequencies lower than 100 hertz except for the beymas which i have set at 80hz. but it still sounds like its lacking any mid bass thump and not as warm as id like either. but i dont see how to get the last two wishes workout adding lids at the very least. any recommendations on what youd do different are appreciated
oh yeah also added a set of st25s in the gauge holes powered by a sd250.

How do you like the new motos with the drivers? I was looking at those vs GZ yellows for fairing if I change out the Mmats eventually..

What DSP u running? U should be able to tame the WDX and CX a bit to balance them out just a touch.
