Hi first time posting. I just upgraded my stereo on my 2014 street glide. I installed a Sony 7000 head unit, diamond audio MSPRO65 in the fairing and in my bags I put in the velocity R690 6x9 with diamond audio M1SRT horns on top of them with the kit from American Hardbag. I have a diamond audio micro4v2 powering the 6x9s and horns. And the front 6.5 are running off the Sony 7000. My horns and 6x9 are wired together. Its very loud but almost ear piercing. I was wondering if I should run my horns off of the Sony 7000 and run my front and rear speakers off of the diamond amp? Id like a little more low end sound. Thanks

For motorcycle audio, it's recommended to run all speakers off of amps. Radios just doesn't provide enough power, even the Sony 7000. Maybe in the garage, but not going down the highway and there's no way to control the gain.
So you are just running the MSPRO65's with no separate tweeter or horn in your fairing? You are missing a lot of frequencies and they are mid range speakers and should be on a DSP. They are rated at 200w, you are giving them about 40w max. They need to be an amp
Your lid horns are going to scream because you have them wired in parallel.
You really need another amp for fairing speakers, another set of horns/tweeter for fairing and an amp for the 4 horns at a minimum. A DSP is strongly recommended.

yes Im running the fronts just off the radio and the horns and 6x9s off the amp. Would it be better running the horns off the radio and the fairing speakers and 6x9s off the amp and add a dsp?

Short answer is no. If you're going to spend a bunch of money on equipment, why not do it right and get the most out of it?
I wouldn't parallel those horns with a set of 6x9 that are 2 ohm.
Those horns are rated 50-100w, off the radio they will get at most 45 at max volume
If you run those 200w fairing speaker off of 2 channels of your amp, they will get 80w each

Your amp is really only good for your 6x9's.
thanks so much for your help. So I really need to get another amp and run the horns and fairing speakers. Then should I bridge the 6x9s to the other amp?

Yes, and you also need another set of horns for your fairing.
Or you could run 6x9 off of 2 channels of 4V2 amp and 4 horns off the other 2 channels. And then add amp for fairing speakers. But if you want want to get thump out of those 6x9, you going to need to put some power to them.
Or you sell the 4V2 and add 2 other amps: 1 for horns and 1 for fairing/lids
