Default RF DSR1 - No Bass?

Hey all, I don't know what I did, but my setup is producing very little bass all of a sudden. I reloaded the American Hard Bag setup file and re-ran the setup wizard in Perfect Tune. As far as I can tell that's all correct.

I didn't mess with the amp gains, just reloaded the setup file. Any pointers on where I should be looking?

I confirmed with my iPhone that the crossovers are set at 80Hz and 2.5kHz with a 12 dB/oct slope on both.

My next step is to physically swap the outputs from the DSR1 to the amp. Right now it's on channels 1&2 for the horns and 3&4 for the mids. However, when I look at the setup wizard options, I don't see anything other than "midrange" available on channels 3&4 now. Maybe there was a software update that changed something since I initially installed it?

I broke down and called RF tech support...

There's an issue with both the iPhone and Android apps. But, they were able to give me a workaround for the iPhone. It requires emailing the preset file to myself and "tricking" iOS into loading it in the app.

They didn't have an immediate solution for Android, but at least I was able to load a preset with my iPhone and get my system back to sounding decent.

So, all of this was because of a software issue(s).

The workaround was emailing the .rfts file to myself then tricking iOS into asking what application to load it with. In my opinion that's not a fault of the Perfect Tune app, that's a security measure with iPhones.

Anyways, I've been beating my head against the wall with the presets. I talked to RF tech support to confirm that the setup wizard doesn't dictate crossovers or channel behavior. What I mean by that is the config wizard may call the output channel a tweeter, but it's still outputting the full frequency range and amplitude, per RF support. However, I could load a preset and it would sound like garbage as soon as I tried adjusting anything.

So, I loaded one of AHB's or GBS's (I forget where I downloaded them from) preset files and noted that they were using channels 1,2,5,&6. So, I physically swapped the RCA's for the channels that I had hooked up. I've had it hooked up as follows for two-ish years:

1&2 - FL & FR Tweeters
3&4 - FL & FR Mids

I now have:

1&2 - FL & FR Full Range
5&6 - RL & RR Full Range

I reset the crossovers to 2.5 kHz @ 12 dB/oct for the tweeters and 70 Hz @ 18 dB/oct for the mids.

It sounds way way better, but I recall having the bass turned up and the treble turned down a few notches on the head unit previously (I did reset them prior to messing with the DSR-1 this time around). So, I adjusted the sound in the EQ settings a little more to my taste.

I think I'm good now... ???

Just weird that there appears to have been some sort of software update that was breaking the presets.
