My son got a FLD (Dyna Switchback) this past spring and just ordered a Reckless Motorcycle fairing.
He really didn't want to spend a ton on a small set up and did not want to buy "their" choices.
So I told him i have what he needs already but I'm questioning which way is "BEST" to hook up the speakers. This will be a fairing 2 speaker system.
This is what I have:
- Pair of GZ yellow Baskets
- Brand new Stinger 700x4
- JLAudio Bluetooth receiver
- I have all wiring
Question:
With the amp and speakers I have, do I connect to 2 separate channels and not use the other 2 channels?
Or... do I bridge them and use all four channels?
For the more Audio Guru's on here, what would be the best way, and then what settings do I change on the amp.
(Attached is a few pics from the back of the amp).
Thanks & much appreciated to get the best/correct way on this 2 speaker set up.
That is where I have mine set at and they are punchy.
Great! Thank you!
So glad I asked....
(He really didn't want audio, but wanted a "finished" inner fairing. Reckless will only sell them with speaker cutouts & single din radio cutout. (Going to fiberglass the single din opening, but will attach the JL audio Bluetooth receiver).
And I still had a brand new stinger amp & 2 GZ yellow baskets that I can use.
This little 2 speaker set up should be damn good for him!!
