OK whats the scoop? I thought the FM issue was only with the hidden antenna and there didn't seem to be a problem with the original whips. Now I am reading its a bigger issue. I have 4 brand new mm651 speakers, adapters, Scott's CB relocation bracket and a new soundstream amp i purchased a couple months ago but have not had a chance to install it. After coming back to these threads, I am ready to pitch the damn thing in the garbage can and not waste my time taking it out of the box.
UltraNutZ and some others are trying to find an answer to the FM problem with SS. Sounds like some are having the issue and others aren't, although most that don't have an issue aren't big FM users anyway, so could explain why they are bothered by it. But for that very reason, I decided to go with dual PBR 300x2's to run fronts and rears. Didn't want to chance that I would be one of the unlucky ones with FM problems with the SS.

I'll up the bid to 30$ and there has been some reports on loss of FM but not by all by any means.
install it.. if you've got the FM issue then take it out and send it back. some have the issue some don't just as you've been reading so it's a 50/50 shot you will or won't have the issue.

for the power and sound quality of the SS amp, I'd risk it. If it don't work, the only thing you've done is killed a little time. The power wires and other connections you can use on another amp. I just put another one in Saturday morning and no FM issues.
