I am going to add another set of the MM651's in my lowers when they get it. I had to send them back due to a color issue. I am sticking with the factory head unit.
Am I missing anything for this install. I still need to order the pods for my lowers. But besides that what else should I need/do when im in there.
you got it covered sir. You might want to take a look at the post by Gone Riding for the exact part # of the ferrite core just in case you have FM issues with the amp. They're cheap and if you have them on hand to wrap the power wires through when installing will be much easier than taking back apart.
Take a look at the sticky up top of the audio section. There's a step by step for what you're doing.

Before asking what additional info or parts you need, simply state what you already know and the parts you already have? Why waste people's time otherwise?
Don't forget the bag of rolled poly-fill from Wall world to back your speakers. It does make a difference. Also a soldering iron and some solder as well as a roll of 12 gauge wire to make leads to run from your OEM harness to the AMP. I just did my install this past weekend. I ended up getting a bad AMP with a dead rear right channel but the install itself went pretty flawlessly.
One tip I got from another poster that was helpful is plan on taking out your stock head unit so you can use the factory ground screw which is under and to the right of the head unit. Save yourself some knuckle busting and pull the head unit. Just pull the 2 screws from each side o the HU then slide it out pulling it toward the front.
Good luck with your install. Be prepared to be amazed by the difference.

How about some positive input instead of bagging on someone asking a simple question. Good grief...
